Hosteria e Pizzeria Masaniello in Metropolitan City of Naples

"We had three dinners at Hosteria Masaniello during our stay in Naples, as we knew from our first visit that we would enjoy every meal. We had mostly seafood, with all ingredients being fresh and the pasta homemade. I recommend trying ravioli filled with octopus and with gamberi and seashells on the side - the best meal I've had in years. Risotto and spaghetti with seafood were also really tasty, and we even tried the vegetarian option (gnocchi with tomato and mozzarella) - all really good. For dessert, we had cream of pistachio and chocolate, and it was heavenly. House wine is also good and can be served by glass or by bottle. All of the team was very kind and fast. We recommend this restaurant and will visit again in the future. Thank you!"

"I’ve been to this restaurant two times. The first time I ordered pasta with seafood, which was amazing. And the second time I chose pizza marinara which was great, too. Aperol is fine, but not the best. Overall, a great place to eat."

"Stumbled on this place by accident because the place we were trying to go had a line a mile long and we were so hungry after traveling all day. Oh how glad I am we came across place. Literally, to this day, the best pizza I have had in my life. When I get back to Italy I will make the trek to get back here. A true Italian feel, with genuine friendliness and the best authentic Italian food! My husband agrees we must get back there some day!"

"First we just accidentally found this place. We went in and ate swordfish it was amazing! Not lie, the best I have ever eaten! Finally a place where we can experience the real kindness of italian people. This is the place you wanna go when you want to eat some very tasty and 10/10 food. For be sure we want back to the next day also. Mamma mia that place surprised us again, the food was even more tasty and delicious!!! You really need to try this place if you are nearby. "What gentlemen! So gracious. The food? Absolutely delicious. We had spaghetti with tomatoes, penne with two types of tomatoes and pepperoncino, and fettucine with mushrooms. Tried a meloncello for the first time. Dangerously yummy. One person even helped me with the tabbachi machine. Happy lives, you all! UPDATE: Such good food and great service, we ate there twice. Well worth it. Penne con pepperocino. Carbonara. Spaghetti with two kinds of tomatoes. Thank you for teaching me about Limonciello Spritzi! We hope to see you all in a year."

"Great pizza place that we stumbled across while trying to find a restaurant on New Year’s Day. Might be the best pizza I’ve had in my life! It’s on a crowded street and most of the seating is outside, but it’s worth it for how good the food was. We had margarita fungi pizza, scarola calzone, pizza friti, and fried potatoes. Everything was amazing and delicious"
